Wenonah II Canada Day Evening Cruise

I booked the trip on a whim, thinking it would be a good way to get a friend of mine and I out. We have a lot in common, widow, two grown kids, a boy and a girl, MS and hearing loss. We both live on our own and need to be careful yet. I am still waiting for shot number two.

What a great night! The weather was perfect! Clear sky, warm with a slight breeze. We were headed to Walkers Point for the fireworks. They delivered. What was also amazing was seeing all the boats – hundreds – in the water…the dark lake full of lights as far as the eye could see.

Everyone did the mask as required, contact tracing was done and the ship limited the numbers to allow for appropriate distancing between groups. Well done!

We did have a little bit of a challenge getting up the ramp to the boat, and we probably should have taken the elevator up instead of the stairs to the upper level.

Part of the cruise is all the cottagers on their dock waving as we cruised by, one dock had a big waving white hand lol.
