Amazing, unreal, Covid-19 precautions, patience, sharing the joy!

It will feel real when I can hold the little bundle of joy, glad that the new little family is healthy and happy. Really that is all that matters.

Colby Frederick Cochren born November 14th, 2020, 8 lbs 4 oz (though the scale looks like 4.6 oz) at 12:01 am.

So on Thursday November 19th, a mere 5 days later, we got to meet. I had been properly isolating, had a negative COVID-19 test, a flu shot a couple of weeks previously so mom and dad said I could come. Truly thankful. He is a little miracle. There are some things in life that are pure joy, and babies are one of them. I am a grandma! I think I am still in shock. He is truly beautiful. Those eyes, his little body, soft skin, the baby smell, so wonderful.
