Write about a few of your favorite family traditions.

My mom was the best at family traditions-usually about food we ate – and I wonder if any will carry down to my children’s families? Still in the food category is the dishes we used for special occasions. One that I loved was my mom would for our birthday make us a whole pie of our favourite flavour, and the rest of the family had to share one pie. Of course there was also cake.

Evidently I miss my mom – coming up on her birthday she would be 104 this year!
